Happy Easter!

We had a really nice Easter this year. The Saturday before, Uncle Russ came over to color eggs with Simon and to snuggle with his new niece.

Simon also enjoyed an egg hunt with his friends down the street. I'll try to attach a video. I've never done that before so hopefully it works! Fingers crossed!

On Easter morning, Simon woke up to find a treasure hunt clue to find his treats from the Easter bunny. Thankfully, the Easter Bunny told him in the clue to wait until at least 7am to wake mom and dad before starting his hunt. Well, he came in at about 6:30 claiming that he "couldn't see his clock". Hmmm.

We started his treasure hunt a bit early, and Simon ended up getting a mini-microscope, a Spongebob lego set, and a Goosebumps book set. The Easter bunny didn't leave any candy this year since Simon was able to go to so many egg hunts before Easter. We made it to church at 9:30 at Augustana. This was Nina's first major outing, and she did a great job. After church we stopped by Brian's office briefly, and then headed to Eileen's sister Lisa's house for yet another egg hunt and some fun family time with the Schmidt's. Nina slept through all of the chaos. It was a great day.
