Simon has been so good with all of the hectic of the past week. Between staying at two different friend's houses, Nina being born and getting adjusted to having a new baby in the house he really has done a great job. He even developed a sinus infection and had to go to the doctor for antibiotics which he developed an allergy to in the meantime. He's been quite the trooper. Brian told him he wanted to take him to Target to pick out a special treat. Simon was so excited because apparently there is some new bionicle thing he wants (I can't keep track anymore). Then he told Brian that he wanted to bring his wallet as well. Not thinking much of it, Brian agreed. Simon came home with a remote control snake (I guess those trump bionicles) and this sweet flower toy for Nina. That is why he wanted to bring his money. He wanted to buy a toy for his sister. What a kid! That would make me get all teary-eyed normally anyway, but mix post-partum hormones in, and you've got yourself a regular bawlfest! :)
Brian and I are slowly adapting to Nina's schedule and trying to still at least keep ourselves fed and showered. I have been super tired, but each day gets better. Last night Nina would have slept from 11pm to 9am. We woke her at 4am to eat. Let's hope for more nights like those!

Adorable, sweet, and perfect! Oh I can't wait to hold her. Oh, her hair reminds me so much of "Sissy"....take care of yourself and your wonderful family...these are days that are more than precious!!

So sweet. I can close my eyes and just hear those newborn sounds and smell those precious newborn smells. Give her hugs and kisses from me. enjoy EVERY minute together!!
